Warmly, wetly, windy,
the soul of spring surrounds—
bursting, bubbling, breaking forth
flowers rise above brown ground;
budding trees perfume the air,
returning song birds’ songs resound,
and all the world around
grows green, profoundly
green—all the world around.

    In downtown chicago today. Thanks for touching my heart in
    beauty of color and delicate sounds. Love, patty
