018 Misty Morning
Once a mist went up from the earth and watered the whole face of the ground. Genesis 2:6
Despite various views about the details of creation, Christians agree on the center point: God, the Father of Jesus Christ, is the Creator of the heavens and the earth. He leaves traces of earth’s history in dinosaur bones, carbon footprints, and geological deposits. And His Word reveals bits of natural history lost long before men began to record their observations and memories.
I believe it delights Him when our natural observations help us to understand the Bible. I believe He lovingly smiles when scientists like astronomer, Hugh Ross, find current scientific discoveries agreeing with Biblical revelation.
It is the glory of God to conceal a matter
But the glory of kings is to search out a matter.
Proverbs 25: 2 NKJV
I smile back at Him when heavy mists and dews water the ground. They remind me of Genesis; I momentarily “feel” vestigial and sense a profound peace in the progressions of God’s plan.
