Gusts up to sixty miles per hour chased across our skies. Clouds swirled in kaleidoscopic change. It was housecleaning time— twigs and branches broke off our trees, fields were swept clean. Every remnant of snow and harvest litter not frozen fast or stuck in thawing mud was brushed off the hills and pushed into gullies, ditches and ravines. As large tree limbs fell, our hickories were pruned. Fallen branches and toppled trees blocked our roadways. Above the remaining firmly rooted stable trunks, the treetops swayed, moved, danced and sang in the whistling wind.

Rarely do we get to see the Holy Spirit come in such power, we forget that it’s

By His breath the heavens are cleared— Job 26:13

He is not bound by earthly natural principles. He is powerful. The angel told Mary,

The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you; and for that reason the holy Child shall be called the Son of God. Luke 1: 35

All of Jesus miracles and ministry were by the power of the Spirit.

. . .Jesus returned to Galilee in the power of the Spirit. Luke 4:14

The Holy Spirit raised Jesus from the dead.

Jesus Christ our Lord, was declared the Son of God with power by the resurrection from the dead, according to the Spirit of holiness. . . Romans 1:4

Jesus promised us the Holy Spirit’s power— a power greater than the wind.

But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses . .  . Acts 1:8.

SEEK Jesus for Himself alone and receive Him and believe if His Holy Spirit should choose to come in power.
