TRUE DOODLING, in my book, is a spiritual discipline. It requires suspending the critical analytical processing of higher thinking skills. It bypasses all judgments and nurtures sensitively mindful attention to present-moment-abandonment. The minute I begin to analyze colors or think about a design, I stop doodling. Doodling is intentionally intuitive. It’s full of surprises and fun.
Oodles of doodles,
Slippery like noodles,
Coming from some place
Going no where—
Elusive, yes.
Conclusive, no.
They say lots about humans,
as beings who know,
far more than they know
